This is a updated review after our second visit there. Previously we did not had the best sushi date, due to the sushi that we ordered that tasted strange and was not fresh. After my first review, the owner did contacted me to find out what the exact issue was, apologized and provided us with R250 voucher so that we can try the Wednesday Sushi special again with a better experience. Myself and my fiance decided to try out this John Dorys again at Menlyn, the service was great as always, the sushi was indeed more fresh and tasted alot better compared to last time. We appreciate the after feedback the owner did provide and the effort they did to ensure that we had a good service. We will return to this John Dory branch again and will recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great sushi date night or just enjoying nice food and vibes.
