The waitress needs to be friendly. Nineteen if us were hvn supper at John Dory's. It was my daughters 21st birthday. Orders were mixed up. Some were wrong orders. We spent over R2300.

Most delicious food, exceptionally prepared, in no time. Served by a very friendly waitress, Nomzi. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to win a voucher and tried John Dorys for the first time. The hake thermidor was delicious, and I've been back twice with family for the same meal!!

The prawn avalanche from the sushi menu is my absolute favourite. Even for the people who are not sushi fans, you will become a fan after eating that. Loved every bite. The lovers platter is recommended for sharing amongst 3 people - be hungry when you are going. Food is always prepared well. Ask for your hake and calamari grilled rather than fried if you health conscious! Jayd Naidoo

Food: I love the Sushi that John Dorys serve. They have a huge variety and they also run a special for half-price sushi on Wednesdays. The Seafood they sell is also very tasty. I also love the Grilled chicken. Ambience : Chilled vibes.. with the fishing theme. Boards and fish tanks as well as a sushi bar. Service: Overall good service. My food always came on time.
